Hello! Chances are you’ve landed on this site because you’re a new nurse. We’re so happy to have you here. We wanted to start this blog to create a community of support for new nurses who are navigating the rugged terrain of job searching and working in their first job. It can be hard and trying experience, so we want to help you through it all with words of encouragement, advice, and cheering from the sidelines. Here’s a little about each of us:

Alyssa is a PhD prepared RN who is currently faculty at a nursing school. She’s informally helped many new nurses post-graduation with their job search and wanted to create a blog to make it more formalized.

Kathryn is a Student Service Coordinator in a nursing school and has a wealth of knowledge about organizing a successful job search. She conducts resume and cover letter workshops, as well as in-depth interviewing coaching sessions.
